Casting

Hirani cast Sushant Singh Rajput after Kai Po Che 's director Abhishek Kapoor showed him Rajput's rushes.[5][6] Aamir Khan, Ram Sethi, and Anushka Sharma were all confirmed to be performing in the film, with Khan stated to be portraying lead character of PK.

Filming

The co-director Khan began looking for shooting locations in July 2012. Second unit filming was set to begin in late 2012, which was stalled after the rumoured departure of three department heads for the film and bad weather stalling initial shoots. 

Marketing

The first poster of the movie came out on 31st July 2014. A motion poster was also released on the same day on YouTube. The poster sparked a controversy as it featured Aamir Khan posing almost nude with only a transistor covering his private parts. The poster was criticized for allegedly promoting obscenity. A PIL was filed in the court by the All India Human Rights and Social Justice Front to ban the release of the film.

Gunn was hired to write and direct the film that September. In February 2013, Pratt was hired to play Peter Quill / Star-Lord, and the supporting cast was filled out over the next several months. Filming began in July 2013 at Shepperton Studios, England with filming continuing in London before wrapping up in October 2013. The film is scheduled to be released on August 1, 2014 in the United States, and will be released in 3D and IMAX 3D.

Haider is an upcoming Indian drama film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, and written by Basharat Peer and Bhardwaj. It is an adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet, and is set in Kashmir. The film stars Shahid Kapoor as the titular character with Tabu, Shraddha Kapoor and Kay Kay Menon. Haider is the third installment of Bhardwaj's Shakespeare trilogy after Maqbool (2003) and Omkara (2006). The film is scheduled for release on 2 October 2014.

Initially, Bharadwaj and Kapoor were in talks of making a sequel to their blockbuster film, Kaminey. After more discussion however, Bharadwaj decided to instead produce another of Shakespeare's plays. He decided to either do King Lear or Hamlet, choosing to adapt the latter due to the political intrigue and history of Kashmir as well as the play's sexual conflicts.

Kapoor, along with Bharadwaj and UTV Motion Pictures each have a 33.3% share in the film. Kapoor reportedly became a producer for the film due to his trust and belief in the film's success. The budget for the film is INR37 crore (US$6.2 million), with INR22 crore (US$3.7 million) going into the production of the film and INR15 crore (US$2.5 million) for promotion.

A large part of shooting of the film was done in Srinagar in Kashmir which started on 8 November 2013. The film was earlier slated to release on the same day of Ranbir Kapoor's release Jagga Jasoos. There were some protests while the shoot of the film was going on in Kashmir University.

The last schedule of shooting for 'Haider' began in Kashmir in January 2014. Bhardwaj has reportedly assured J&K Chief Minister Omar Abdullah that the film would have nothing to harm the local sensibilities and the political aspirations.The shooting was completed by 24 February 2014. Tabu is playing the role of step-mother of Shahid in the film.

Bang Bang is an upcoming Hindi action thriller film directed by Siddharth Raj Anand. The film features Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif in lead roles. Bang Bang is being produced by Fox Star Studios and it is a remake of the Tom Cruise-Cameron Diaz film Knight and Day. It is the first Bollywood film to be produced in Abu Dhabi.

Shooting for the film began in May 2013. Unique water action sequences were shot in Thailand and continued in Greece. In Phuket, Hrithik performed a stunt where he had to put a jet on his feet and go 30 feet high in the sky and then dive down in the water. Shooting for the film resumed in January 2014, in Shimla, Manali, Abu Dhabi and Delhi. In one of the chase sequence in the film, 120 cars were involved.

This scene was shot in Abu Dhabi. It is said to be biggest action scene in bollywood. Before the actual filming, Hrithik, true to his reputation of being a perfectionist, did some dry runs of the car he was going to drive in the scene. All the stunts were performed by Hrithik himself. The stunts were designed by Andy Armstrong  were shot in Abu Dhabi. A song shoot was completed at an open-cafeteria in Film City, Mumbai on 19 April 2014. The Abu Dhabi segment(which had a high level action sequences) of shooting has been completed on 20 May in collaboration with twofour54.
